About the Role:
Join a dedicated Special Education team in San Jose, CA, as an Occupational Therapist for the current school year. This is a full-time opportunity working with students in grades 612, providing crucial therapy services to support their growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Assess fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities to identify areas of need
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students' goals
- Provide direct therapy interventions to help students perform daily school activities
- Maintain accurate, confidential records of evaluations, therapy plans, and progress
Requirements:
- Active California OT License
- Masters Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
- School-based experience preferred but not required
Position Details:
- Schedule: Full-time, up to 40 hours/week
- Caseload: Grades 612 (details discussed in the interview)
- Pay Rate: $40$60/hour, based on experience
