Position Requirements:
To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Certification: Valid Alaska state SLP license or certification, and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience: Experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide essential services to support students communication and language development. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations of students with speech, language, and communication challenges.
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other support staff to provide integrated and consistent support.
- Offering individual and group therapy sessions to enhance students' speech and language skills.
- Monitoring and documenting progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to promote student success.
