This role is based in a special education setting, offering a fulfilling opportunity to work with students in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in a special education setting.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, and implement interventions.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports on student progress.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure and certifications to practice as an Occupational Therapist in New Mexico (please specify required certifications).
- A minimum of one year of experience in a school or special education setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
