Position Overview:
Blazer Jobs is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our school district partner in Algonquin, Illinois. This part-time role focuses on providing high-quality therapy services to students to help them thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations to identify students' occupational therapy needs.
- Design and deliver effective therapy interventions.
- Consult with teachers and parents to support student development.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress.
- Provide input for IEPs and ensure compliance with district policies.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Illinois.
- At least one year of professional experience, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
