A dynamic school district near Clarkston, MI, is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with students to provide psychological services that support their academic and personal growth.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including cognitive, behavioral, and emotional assessments
- Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, and parents to provide insights and recommendations based on evaluations
- Develop and implement intervention strategies for students with behavioral or emotional challenges
- Provide individual or group counseling to students
- Offer professional development and training to staff regarding mental health and learning issues
Qualifications:
- Specialist or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school setting
- Excellent interpersonal and consultation skills
