Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress and educational goals.
- Monitor and document student progress, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings to provide insights and recommendations for speech and language goals.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Texas.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations.
- Ability to meet all local and state requirements for school-based positions, including background checks.
