Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time role with a school district in the Cowiche, WA area. Join our team in making a meaningful impact on students communication and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students learning and development.
- Conduct screenings and provide evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Provide training and resources to educators and families to enhance communication strategies.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Washington state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school-based setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
