Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our partner school districts in the Cartersville, GA area. This is a full-time position for a qualified SLP eager to support students and make a lasting impact. Immediate interviewing is available!
Position Requirements:
To qualify, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current SLP licensure in Georgia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) issued by ASHA (preferred)
- Prior school-based experience is a plus
- Ability to pass background and reference checks in accordance with district standards
- Additional state and local compliance as required by Georgia schools
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to deliver optimal therapy outcomes
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports for each student
- Participate in meetings, including IEP meetings, as needed to support student progress
- Support students in developing essential communication skills in alignment with educational goals
