Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position with a school district in the Cartersville, GA area. This role is an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about helping students achieve communication and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student progress.
- Document and track student progress, maintaining compliance with school and district policies.
- Attend IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Georgia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain).
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred.
- Previous school-based experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
