Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district near Cambridge, MD. Position Overview:

Location: Near Cambridge, MD
Full-Time, Contract Position
Competitive Pay: $30 - $35 per hour (based on experience)
Immediate Start Available

Key Responsibilities:

Support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing speech and language therapy to students in a school setting
Work one-on-one and in small groups to assist students with speech, language, and communication goals
Implement therapy plans and monitor student progress
Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and communicate progress to SLPs, teachers, and parents
Collaborate with school staff to create a positive, supportive environment for students success

Required Qualifications:

Active SLPA Certification in Maryland
Completion of an accredited SLPA program
Ability to pass district-required background checks
Strong communication, organization, and team collaboration skills
Prior experience working in a school-based setting is preferred but not required
