Job Description: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: At least March 2025
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:50 AM 2:50 PM (35 hours/week)
- Location: Two elementary schools in California, serving grades TK2nd
- Caseload: Currently 43 students, with a maximum of 55
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments to determine speech and language needs.
- Write, manage, and hold IEP meetings in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Utilize SEIS (Special Education Information System) effectively for documentation and communication.
Qualifications:
- Required Certification: California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) authorization as an SLP.
- Experience working with TK2nd grade students is preferred.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in young children.
