Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time role with school districts in the Union, SC area. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome speech and language challenges to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student development.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and student progress.
- Provide education and support to staff and families regarding speech and language development.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on student goals.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required).
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of South Carolina.
- ASHA certification (preferred).
- Prior experience working in a school setting (preferred).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and parents.
- Must meet all state and local requirements, including:
- Passing a background check and fingerprint clearance.
