Position Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:
- Hold a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Possess a valid Texas SLP license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
- Prior experience working in a school setting is a plus.
- Pass all required background checks and drug screenings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services in group and one-on-one settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and comply with state and district regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams.
