Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time position with school districts in the Springfield, OH area. We are looking for a compassionate professional to support students' emotional, behavioral, and academic development, helping them succeed in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling services to students to address social-emotional and behavioral concerns.
- Assist in crisis intervention and provide support to students in challenging situations.
- Promote positive behavioral strategies and interventions to improve school climate.
- Provide guidance on mental health issues and overall student well-being.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology.
- Valid state certification as a School Psychologist in Ohio.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
