Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in the Monticello, MN area. Join a dedicated team of educators and specialists committed to supporting students' communication and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments.
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' needs.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs.
- Use evidence-based practices and tools to maximize student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (required).
- Active Minnesota SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) (required).
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting (preferred).
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education services.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Must meet all local and state requirements, including:
- Passing a background check and fingerprint clearance.
