Minimum 1+ years social worker experience required.
Our partner school in Evanston, Illinois is looking to find a kind and compassionate School Social Worker (SSW) to join our Special Education team for the fullschool year!
Position Details:
- Full or part time candidates will be considered
- Full School Year
- Caseload: elementary; specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
- Pay Range: $30 - $50, depending on previous experience
Requirements:
- Must have a Masters Degree in Social Work
- Must have the Illinois PEL Type 73 Certificate for School Social Worker
- Must have an active School Social Work License for the state of Illinois
- Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required
General Responsibilities:
- Assess the social and emotional needs of students and develop intervention strategies to address these needs.
- Provide direct support services through counseling, crisis intervention, and case management.
- Serve as a liaison between the school and external agencies, facilitating access to community resources for students and families.
