Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
We are searching for a School Occupational Therapist who will work with studentsto promote and enhance their functional independence in the school environment. The therapist will assess and provide interventions to students with diverse needs, collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational and developmental goals. This role will cover a caseload of 30-40 students
Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of students fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and self-care skills.

Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on students needs and educational goals.

Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.

Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and objectives.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school district policies and state regulations.

Full time hours (32.5/w) for Sept-Dec 2024
Qualifications

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Valid WA state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.

Educational Staff Associate (ESA) with School Occupational TherapistEndorsement

Strong knowledge of child development, sensory processing, and therapeutic interventions.
