Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
- Hours: Standard School Day (M-F)
- Pay: Starting at $42.00+ per hour, based on relevant school-based experience
General Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, following students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Assist with implementing speech-language interventions, including articulation, phonology, and language development activities.
- Document student progress, prepare materials, and communicate with supervising SLP and educators.
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment to support students communication and academic growth.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid stateSLPA licensure/certification.
- Familiarity with IEP implementation and accommodations.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with the SLP.
- Prior experience working with children or young adults with special needs is strongly preferred.
