Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dedicated team within school districts in the Pasadena, TX area. This is an exceptional opportunity to work closely with students, educators, and families to support the development of vital communication skills and enhance student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to create supportive learning environments.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Conduct screenings and evaluations for speech and language development.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations for student support.
- Provide training and resources to staff and parents to support speech and language development at school and home.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current Texas state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to pass background checks and pre-employment screenings as required by the school district.
