Blazer Jobs is excited to partner with local school districts near Atchison, KS, to offer a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) role. We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic professionals who are passionate about helping students develop their communication skills and succeed in the classroom. Position Overview:
- Location: Near Atchison, KS
- Full-Time Contract Role
- Competitive Pay: Enjoy $30 - $35 per hour (based on experience)
- Immediate Start Available
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering speech and language therapy to students
- Work with students individually and in small groups to help them improve speech, language, and communication skills
- Implement individualized therapy plans and track student progress
- Communicate with SLPs, teachers, and parents to ensure effective student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress
Required Qualifications:
- Active SLPA Certification in Kansas
- Completion of an accredited SLPA program
- Ability to pass district-required background checks
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but not required
