Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure in New Mexico
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
- IEP experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' functional abilities and limitations
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address clients' therapy needs
- Provide direct therapy services to improve motor skills, sensory processing, self-care skills, and other occupational areas
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support clients educational goals
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy services and client progress
