Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a full-time role within school districts in the Morton, PA area. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with students, helping them develop skills to succeed academically, socially, and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy to students to improve motor skills, sensory processing, and coordination.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to create supportive learning environments.
- Monitor and document student progress and adapt therapy approaches as necessary.
- Educate and guide staff and families on strategies to support students occupational needs.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations as part of the IEP process.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid Pennsylvania state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
