Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists (OTs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Rodeo, CA area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students' motor, sensory, and adaptive needs through appropriate assessments.
- Develop individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educational teams and families.
- Provide direct therapy to improve students participation in school activities.
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy goals as needed.
- Consult with teachers and staff to implement classroom strategies that support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings to discuss evaluations, goals, and recommendations.
Requirements:
- A Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- A valid California occupational therapy license issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
- Completion of a California Department of Justice and FBI background check.
- School-based experience is highly preferred.
