Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists (OTs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Westland, MI area.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skill deficits.
- Deliver direct therapy services to help students achieve educational goals.
- Provide teacher and parent consultations to support therapy interventions in the classroom and at home.
- Document services provided, student progress, and outcomes in compliance with state and district requirements.
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and team discussions.
Requirements:
- A Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- A valid Michigan occupational therapy license issued by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).
- School-based experience is highly preferred.
- Must pass a Michigan criminal background check and fingerprinting process.
