Blazerworks, in partnership with the Alexandria, VA, school district, is seeking a passionate and qualified School Psychologist for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the academic, social, and emotional success of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement effective intervention strategies to support student learning and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create a positive and inclusive school environment.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed.
- Support the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
- Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in school psychology.

Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology.
- Valid Virginia state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Commitment to fostering student success and advocating for their needs.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
