Minimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.
Our organization is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our educational team. The BCBA will work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and support students with behavioral challenges in a school setting. This role requires expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote positive behavioral change and support students in achieving their fullest potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
Location: Port Charlotte, FL
The Responsibilities of this position:
Full-time: 40 hours per week
Caseload information: K-12 grades. About 20 total on the caseload
Onsite only
Qualifications we are looking for:
Bachelors degree in Exceptional Student Education, psychology, social work, counseling, behavior analysis or related field.
Minimum of 3 years working with children exhibiting maladaptive behavior.
FL Teaching cert.
Must have or be willing to obtain BCBA cert within 3 years of hire date.
Prefers classroom experience, but not required.
