Job Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:
- New Hampshire SLPA Licensure (issued by the Office of Licensed Allied Health Professionals).
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Experience working under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in a school or clinical setting.
- Knowledge of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Current background check and clearance as required by New Hampshire law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering therapy services to students.
- Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Monitor and document student progress, providing updates to the SLP.
- Prepare and organize materials for therapy sessions.
- Support students in improving communication skills, including articulation, fluency, and social language.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create a positive learning environment.
