Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students fine motor, sensory, and functional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' unique goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students educational success.
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings to provide input on students' therapy needs and progress.
- Offer strategies and resources to classroom staff for promoting functional skills in the classroom setting.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (required).
- Current Louisiana OT License (required).
- NBCOT certification (preferred).
- Previous experience in a school-based setting (preferred).
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
