Job Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active California state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Successful completion of a background check and other state-specific requirements.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong skills in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing speech therapy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and parents to improve student communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments to students with communication disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs.
- Provide speech therapy to students, focusing on speech, language, and communication development.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student progress and behavioral needs.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
- Provide consultation and support for teachers and staff regarding speech and language development strategies.
