Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals aligned with students' needs.
- Conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions in compliance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create inclusive learning strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, progress reports, and communications.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams as needed.
- Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (required).
- Valid Massachusetts state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (required).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings (preferred).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
