Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress, and compliance with regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and professional development opportunities.
- Provide consultation and training for educators and families on communication strategies.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required).
- Active New Jersey SLP License and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (required).
- New Jersey Department of Education certification or eligibility (required).
- Experience in a school-based setting or working with pediatric populations (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
