Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students educational goals.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to district and state compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active New Jersey SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).
- Prior experience in school-based settings is highly preferred, though new graduates with strong clinical experience are welcome to apply.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for working with children and supporting diverse learning needs.
