Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to support emotional, behavioral, and academic success.
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to students' needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address students' social, emotional, and academic challenges.
- Conduct assessments to identify and address barriers to learning.
- Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community resources to ensure comprehensive support.
- Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to advocate for students' needs.
- Offer crisis intervention and support as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program (required).
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker Endorsement (required).
- Experience in a school-based setting (preferred).
- Strong understanding of child development, family systems, and community resources.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
