Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time position with school districts in the Ellicott City, MD area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and make a meaningful impact on students' lives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' academic and social success.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations to support student development.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and district regulations.
Requirements
Applicants must meet all local and state qualifications, including:
- A valid stateOccupational Therapy License.
- A masters or doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing special education.
- Previous experience in a school setting (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
