Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist for a full-time position within the Redford, MI school district. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' academic, social, and emotional well-being by providing critical psychological services and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support students' academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to create individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling services to students individually or in groups.
- Assist in crisis intervention and support when needed.
- Offer guidance and training to staff on best practices for student mental health and development.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Michigan.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
