Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans for students based on assessment results.
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students facing academic, emotional, or social challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective strategies to support student development.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Consult with school staff on classroom management and behavior intervention techniques.
- Lead crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including IDEA and Section 504 requirements.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and inform decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid Pennsylvania State School Psychologist certification (required).
- Familiarity with local and federal regulations related to special education and student services.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff.
- Experience in school-based settings (preferred).
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, data collection, and developing intervention strategies.
