Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing full-time SLPAs to work in school districts in the Richmond, VA area. This position involves working closely with licensed SLPs to support students with speech and language challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct therapy sessions based on individualized plans developed by an SLP.
- Record and monitor student progress in alignment with therapy goals.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support students communication needs.
- Assist in preparing materials and activities for therapy sessions.
Requirements:
- Associates degree in speech-language pathology or completion of an SLPA program.
- Licensure as an SLPA by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.
- School-based experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Virginia state background check.
