Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication needs.
- Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based practices tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Conduct screenings and evaluations in compliance with state and local guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student services and progress.
- Educate students, families, and staff on strategies to enhance communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required).
- Valid Massachusetts SLP license (required).
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) (preferred).
- Prior experience in a school-based setting (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
