Blazer Jobs is seeking a Remote Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide exceptional teletherapy services to students in Ashkum, Illinois. This flexible, part-time position is ideal for experienced SLPs looking to make a meaningful impact on student success while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective virtual speech therapy sessions for K-12 students.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and document student progress, providing updates to the school team and families.
- Maintain compliance with Illinois state regulations and school district policies.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Licensure: Valid Illinois SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience: At least 1 year of previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with teletherapy tools and platforms to provide high-quality virtual services.
- Additional Requirements: Must pass background checks and meet Illinois school district requirements.
