Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists (OTs) for a full-time role within school districts in the Detroit, MI area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students' fine motor, sensory, and functional challenges and develop treatment plans.
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to support student development.
- Monitor and document progress toward therapy goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff and families to address student needs.
Requirements:
- A Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- A valid Michigan Occupational Therapist license issued by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).
- NBCOT certification.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
- Completion of a background check in compliance with Michigan school district policies.
