Blazer Jobs is excited to partner with school districts in the Needham, MA area to fill a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position. We are actively interviewing dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in students' lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in group and individual settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and compliance records.
- Participate in team meetings and provide expertise on communication strategies.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid state Speech-Language Pathology license .
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting (preferred).
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to special education.
