Blazer Jobs is excited to announce an opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for a full-time position with school districts in the Lynn, MA area. We are actively interviewing passionate professionals who are committed to making a difference in students' lives.
Responsibilities
- Assist certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing direct and indirect speech therapy services.
- Work with students to develop and improve communication, language, and social skills.
- Implement treatment plans designed by the SLP and monitor student progress.
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state regulations.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals and success.
- Adapt materials and activities to meet individual student needs.
Requirements
- Hold a valid state SLPA license or be eligible for licensure.
- Have completed an accredited Bachelors degree SLPA program.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting, is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to adhering to all state and district policies and regulations.
