Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering therapy services to students with communication disorders.
- Implement therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students' communication needs in the classroom.
- Adhere to state regulations and district policies in all professional activities.
Requirements:
- Completion of an SLPA program or a bachelors degree in communication sciences and disorders.
- Hold a current Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology SLPA license.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and meet other district requirements.
