Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Our partner school in Birmingham, Alabama is looking to find multipleSpeech Language Pathologists (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year. As a school-based SLP, you will help provide life-changing services for students with a wide variety of needs.
Position Details:
- Current School Year
- Full-time: up to 40 hours per week
- Caseload: K - 12th grade, specific caseload information will be provided during the interview process
- Pay Range: $30 - $40 per hour, depending on previous experience
Responsibilities:
- Consult and communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies for reinforcement at home.
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings, contributing expert knowledge and recommendations for speech therapy services.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and other required records.
Requirements:
- Must have Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Must have an active Alabama SLP License and active SLP License in state of residency, if applicable
- Must have CCC's
