Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated School-Based Mental Health Therapist for a full-time, onsite position in Puyallup, WA for the current school year. This position is in partnership with the school district, providing vital mental health services to students.

Position: Full-Time, 40 hours/week

Caseload/Details:
The School-Based Mental Health Therapist provides quality mental health therapy to children, youth, adults, and families within the school district.
- District-wide assignment
- Varying caseload, dependent upon school site

Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
- Provide mental health assessments and diagnoses
- Develop treatment plans and provide ongoing therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students
- Offer crisis intervention and support for students in need
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Licensure:
- Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHT)
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Psychologist
Must hold an active
Washington State License Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience providing mental health diagnosis and treatment for children and adolescents Current or recent experience working with Native American or other similar diverse populations
