Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced School Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in Bradenton, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students in a rewarding educational setting, providing essential speech and language services.
Requirements:
To apply for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Active Florida State Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school or educational setting is preferred
- Ability to pass background checks as required by state and local regulations
- Valid Florida Driver's License (if required for travel between campuses)
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and interventions
- Provide direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to support student development
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, including progress notes
- Assist in the development and modification of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on speech and language goals
- Provide guidance and support to parents and school staff on speech-related concerns
