Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time role with school districts in Alvin, TX. Requirements:

- Active Texas State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working as an SLP in a school or educational setting preferred
- Ability to pass background checks as required by state and local regulations
- Valid Texas Drivers License (if required for travel between campuses)
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language issues, including articulation, language processing, fluency, and social communication
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students based on assessments and goals
- Provide therapy services in individual or group settings as appropriate
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide updates on student progress
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress reports
- Offer professional development and support to school staff on speech and language strategies
