Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time role with school districts in the Greencastle, PA area. We are seeking compassionate and skilled professionals to support the mental health and educational development of students in a school setting.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Pennsylvania certification as a School Psychologist.
- Must meet all local and state requirements to practice as a School Psychologist in Pennsylvania.
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field is required.
- Experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals.
- Ability to conduct psycho-educational assessments and provide counseling services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students' mental health and social-emotional development.
- Serve as a resource for teachers and parents on behavioral management strategies.
- Monitor and track student progress, making recommendations as needed.
- Participate in meetings to discuss student progress, assessment results, and intervention strategies.
