Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in Stockton, California. Position Details:
- Location: Stockton, CA
- Pay: $55 - $57 an hour
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Contract Length: Current school year (renewals based on performance)
Responsibilities:
As an SLP in this role, you will:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
- Provide therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and compliance with IEP requirements.
- Stay informed of best practices and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this role, applicants must:
- Hold a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Possess a valid California SLP license issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board.
- Meet California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) requirements to work in schools.
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred but not required).
- Have prior experience working in school or pediatric settings (preferred).
- Pass a state and federal background check and provide up-to-date TB clearance.
