Position Details:

Responsibilities:
As an SLP in this role, you will:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Provide direct speech therapy services in group and individual settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services.
- Stay updated on best practices and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Hold a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Possess a valid Connecticut SLP license.
- Meet Connecticut Department of Education certification requirements for working in schools.
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred but not required).
- Have experience working in a school or pediatric setting (preferred).
- Pass a state and federal background check.
